Reports to: Vice President of Technology
Purpose: to manage day-to-day helpdesk and desktop support functions across our multiple locations while working directly alongside the VP of IT on larger infrastructure, systems, and strategic projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Helpdesk & End-User Support
- Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests across all C&C locations (in-person, phone, email, ticketing system)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and login issues for employees at all levels
- Set up new employee workstations, accounts, and equipment; manage offboarding/equipment recovery
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment (laptops, monitors, phones, peripherals) across locations
- Provide basic training/guidance to end users on systems and software
- Systems & Projects
- Support and help maintain our core business system, Gartman DMS on an IBM iSeries
- Assist the VP of IT with larger projects: system upgrades, rollouts, security initiatives, vendor coordination, and process improvements
- Help document IT procedures, systems configurations, and troubleshooting guides
- Support network and server maintenance tasks as directed
- Participate in evaluating new tools/technology as the company grows

- Travel to other C&C locations occasionally as needed
- Provide occasional after-hours support for critical issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field (or Associate’s plus equivalent hands-on experience)
- Strong troubleshooting mindset — comfortable figuring things out, even with unfamiliar systems
- Networking knowledge (Cisco, Fortinet or other routing equipment).
- Windows administration, Microsoft 365 administration as well as other business software usage and administration – Power BI and SQL knowledge and administration preferred
- IBM iSeries administration or familiarity preferred
- Experience with Gartman DMS strongly preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills — you’ll be explaining technical issues to non-technical coworkers all day
- Highly organized, able to juggle routine tickets and long-term project work simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a two-person department
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car to other locations
Ideal Qualities:
- Internship or coursework involving systems administration, networking, or ERP/legacy (IBM iSeries (AS400)) or similar systems
- Any exposure to distribution, warehouse, or supply chain environments
